Soul Carving

   With the many voices being raised today, we can feel bombarded with conflicting opinions, uncertain what to believe as the many voices clamor for our attention. When I start to feel this panic and confusion welling up in me, I turn to the scriptures for clarity. Helaman 5:30 of the Book of Mormon says:  "And it came to pass when they heard this voice, and beheld that it was not a voice of thunder, neither was it a voice of a great tumultuous noise, but behold, it was a still voice of perfect mildness, as if it had been a whisper, and it did pierce even to the very soul"    I've been privileged to share my voice on a website specifically for women of faith. Since I last posted: We've discovered we're going to have another little one join our family. I've spent 2 months enduring grueling morning sickness and effectively hiding from the world until emerging relieved and thankful at the start of my second trimester. I've taken part in a world-wide conference where I obtained inspiration on how to find happiness and fulfill my own, unique destiny. (As a result of the conference, I've also discovered a latent super-power which I'm learning to hone!) I've started a Women's Scripture Study group in my community which meets weekly to discuss truths learned from God's word. My sweetheart and I have celebrated 16 years of marriage.        In my last post I explained how my voice is my gift and how I desire to use it to bless and inspire. I've been overjoyed to find a community which has allowed me that privilege.
